I especially fell for Via del Campo, Proshai, and Göne Lunden, but I enjoyed all the songs on your list, including the hidden track. As I’m writing this, I’m actually listening to another song by Oi Va Voi (Refugee). The German song, Abendlied, definitely felt like a warm hug. I got an instant flashback to when my mum would tuck me in when I was a child. And I looked into the translation of the Russian song (Proshai), and I agree with you again: It read like a dramatic poem. It’s a beautiful language.

Und als dann Mari Boine lief, dachte ich, naja, dann erwähne ich eben zwei Lieder als besonders toll. Dann kam Omnia und so langsam wurde mir bewusst, dass es komisch wäre, die Hälfte aller Lieder gesondert zu erwähnen. Und als ich dann Ayub Ogada gehört habe, wusste ich gar nicht mehr, wie ich das Rating formulieren soll, um all dieser tollen Musik gerecht zu werden, haha 😅 Es klingt nun beinahe so, als hätten mir die beiden anderen und der hidden track (süße Idee übrigens 😉) gar nicht gefallen, dem ist aber nicht so!
