Comment: This is my 1st 3 given & I am not doing this lightly. I have given this much thought. The requirement for the swap was, the item to be sent Feb. 1st. You clicked sent on Feb. 4th., The FIRST PM I received from you stating that you would be late was Feb. 11th ! Upon examining the postmark...it shows it was posted on the 12th of Feburary !! It shows on your profile that you were ill, but it looks as though that was in the latter part of 2009, if you were that ill, why did you sign up in the New Year for this swap? I'm sorry, I don't think you can use this excuse for this swap. " EDITED TO ADD 3/1/2010 - You say you wrote on my profile that you would be late - but that is not true - you never wrote on my profile. And to call me wicked for rating you a 3 because I am following the rules is unacceptable."

Comment: This is my first 3 given and I'm not doing it lightly, but I feel that it is deserved in this case. This was a profile-based swap (at the very least, you were to look at my profile for ideas), but it seems as if you just threw a bunch of things into an envelope. I could be in the minority here, but I don't feel that Kleenex is ever an appropriate swap item. In addition, there was a paperclip, a clothespin, unidentifiable candy (a translation/description might have been good), and glittery bath gel. This assortment seemed to have taken no thought and looks like stuff you had lying around. I scoured my partners profiles and took great care to send things they could use or would like. In addition, the envelope was torn and perhaps products were missing when I received it. I understand that international mail can be rough, but it is a swapper's responsibility to package securely. Lastly, this item was sent 3 days after the swap deadline and you never sent me an email/message letting me know about the delay. UPDATE: I saw on your profile ratings that you were sick at the end of 2009 - I assumed that you were better since you were signing up for swaps. If you are too sick to meet swap requirements, why sign up for a swap? If your profile is to be believed, you knew you were sick before this swap began - so I don't think that is an excuse. Additionally, you never contacted me to tell me you were sick or that there would be a delay. And I don't believe you sent items based on my profile.

Comment: Thank you for the pretty card. (You clicked "sent" on January 10, 1 day late, but the machine generated postage stamp is dated Jan. 13. I understand from your profile page that you were ill - sorry, but, had you contacted me personally as soon as you were feeling better and able to, to let me know why you were sending late, I wouldn't have rated you down.) REPLY TO YOUR COMMENT: I did not receive any personal message from you - if you can show me a dated message that you sent, I will re-consider. UPDATE Jan. 27: While you sent me a "message" dated January 8, it was not in the format that it should have been if it had been copied and pasted from an original message, so sorry, but I will not change my rating.

Comment: She sent me a store bought ornament and stuck a bat sticker on it's head to make it "gothic". Unbelievable crap. She put NO work into this swap at all.

Comment: I have given up on this swap. This is the 1st package I have received for this particular swap. She was my partner for the #3 as well that one didn't go well. I tired of waiting on these two swaps and getting junk every time she sends something. It stated on the swap "You must have enough kawaii items and be familiar with kawaii in order to join this swap" and it seems she didn't. I'm sorry but a dried glue stick, a bootleg pencil from china, and a folded Disney sticker sheet is not KAWAII at all! SO BEWARE if you have her as partner for any kawaii swap, at least from my experience. 15DEC I just found out the pencil case she spent $5 on the zipper is broken. Where do they sell these cheap items for that amount you spent!? $30 for all this junk????? There was something broken or dirty in every package she sent. Another thing is that you said your partners never complained on the Kawaii swaps you sent. You don't have any other ones other than me!

Comment: This email swap was due Oct 23rd but I had to leave 2 profile messages before it was finally sent on Nov 3rd. I didn't receive any communication to say why this swap was so late. **Updated 8/11** Normally I would change a rating but you had the time to email me about swaps that I had hosted and you hadn't received but didn't have the courtesy to respond to any of my messages to you regarding this particular swap and never in any of your emails to me about the swaps that you DIDN"T receive did you mention that you were in hospital. This story has only surfaced since you were given the 3. The swap host never contacted me to say that you were in hospital and neither did you, yet you were able to email me about other issues with swaps you didn't receive yet completely ignored my enquires about this swap. If you hadn't been emailing me about swaps which you believed you were flaked on but ignoring all emails about swaps that your swap partners hadn't received from you I may have been more sympathetic. Only since you got the 3 have you decided to say that you were in hospital.
