CUPCAKE ATC SWAP

Do a google search for artist trading cards "how to make" and you will find all info you need. or look at Flicker photos. Basically the only requirement is the size 2.5 x 3.5, always traded, never sold and ome info you put on the back of the card.

To finish by above post----did I leave anything out?

I am fairly new at them too, give it a try because they are so much fun once you get the rhythm going and I find if I make a small piece of something everyday its beginning to open my creativity channel.

Im new too, these are only my second set made to trade. Im already done with them though and they were cute. I LOVE CUPCAKES! I wish my oven wasnt broken, I wish I wasnt dieting and I wish I had someone to make me cupcakes that look like the ones in the pic!!! :D

But ATC's are fun to make. Basically they are just little 2.5x3.5 pieces of artwork using ANY media (unless the swap dictates othwrwise); paint, draw, color, stickers, cut & paste, add kinds of fabrics and fibers, GLITTER (hehe im a glitter fan). Anyway, they are fun. FUN FUN FUN. I just purchased some ATC sleeves from ETSY too. I paid like $2.00 for 200 of them. They are just little clear plastic sleeves to slide your cards into. (think kids baseball card sleeves). I think any hobby place that sells trading cards (baseball, etc...)would sell the sleeves or even Michael's maybe? But sleeves are NOT necessary. Before I got my sleeves, I was just going to use cut down snack size plastic baggies. I feel safer mailing them if there is some sort of waterproof protection. Anyway, GOOD LUCK! Remember to post the pics of the cards you get! Its the best way to see other peoples artwork!

Please do not give the swap host flak for letting me into this swap. I have a low rating because I was in the hospital right after I signed up for my 1st swap and did not finish it because I was focused on getting my life back together. This is the 3rd swap I've participated in on Swap-bot but have finished several swaps on flickr! and atcards.com. I signed up for this one because cupcakes sounds like fun.

I am ready and sending them on Friday.... that is the 15th here in Australia. Happy Valentines tomorrow everybody...!!!

I just mailed my cards on Monday. Last week was nutty - some drunk idiot ran his truck through the wall outside my apartment building, my 9 month old kitten started losing his hair and was diagnosed as having any fatal disease known to cats and more of life's craziness but the cards are in the mail and on the way. I'm starting to think that whenever I sign up for a swap on swap-bot it's a sign that something crazy is about to happen...
