I would love to join this, but I'm already in several handmade swaps in January... I hope you'll do another apron swap soon!!!

vintageartchic 12/28/2007 #

Yes, since this is a new idea, people will probably have to warm up to the idea...so I will definitely do another handmade reversible apron swap!

CelestialFreak,

I'm like you...I CAN'T WAIT to get my partner. I love, love, love aprons. My grandmother would never cook without one. She always made them and had a big huge drawer just for her aprons.

In fact, just before she died, she made me one and I cherish it as though it were gold! So everytime I see one or make one...I think of her loving, giving, patient ways!

Don't worry, this will NOT be the last. There will be many more apron swaps to come!

Hugs, Sharon aka VintageArtChic

Hello Everyone!

I changed the date. I got several private messages that people's swap schedules were jammed packed! So I changed the date so we get our January swaps completed and have plenty enough time to create our best work for February!

The wait will be longer Uuugh! but more people will be able to join!

Thanks for waiting!

BluEyedPenny!

There are several SUPER QUICK swaps going on right now. One I just created this past week...SUPER QUICK HAPPY NEW YEAR CARD SWAP. You have to sign up by Sunday, Dec. 30th at midnight. Partners will be assigned by Monday, Dec. 31st. Scroll down and look at some of the other swaps. Hopefully you can get your 3 ratings in by January 11th. If not...I will definitely have another Handmade Apron with a Twist swap!

Happy New Year!

The story about your grandma and aprons is so sweet. What a special gem to have one you cherish that she made you!

The extended date is great too! I can't wait to get started, but I can always appreciate having more time to get things made real nice.

So glad to know you will have more apron swaps. I've been in a few from Beelicious, she hosts great apron swaps too, have you been in any of hers? I hope to start an apron swap someday, but at the moment I'm hosting several ATC/paper swaps. Maybe in the summer I'll host one.

Anyway, just wanted to say again, great swap! This is one I'm really excited about!
