"Alternative" Doll swap

I love making dolls from materials like socks and old sweaters! Especially socks!

For this swap let's make our partner a doll from a pair of old socks (clean,of course!) or cut from an old sweater,skirt or scarf ! (You can use any other materials besides these you can find,if you like)

The size of the doll will depend on the materials you choose (or the size of the socks!).There are no rules as there are with dotees. Just keep it lightweight and mailable sized,I would say :D

These are not real "artdolls" or "sockmonkeys"-although you can make a monkey if you like! I'm using a picture of one of my dolls to show you how fun and "weird" you can get with them ;>

There are no "mistakes".One eye or three;lopsided mouths;one arm or leg shorter than another-it's all good! Really!

I promise you will have fun with this swap! No stress,no worries! Now,go raid your sockdrawers or search your local thriftstore for a funky old sweater!

I am making this usa/canada only because I am kind of broke (!) and my postage budget is getting tinier and tinier!
