Description:

This swap is inspired by a swap I saw on swapbot awhile back by lovestitches http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/7669 :) This swap is for U.S. only (if some-one wants to make an international version...that's great!). Open to swappers with a rating of 4.8 or higher OR Newbies with completely filled out profiles. (Sorry no exceptions...I will ban anyone who doesn't meet the guidelines or anyone who otherwise is flinging bad Mojo). You will have 2 partners. ******WHAT TO SEND: send each partner a small bit of unframed embroidery....just make a small embroidery on a bit of fabric, stick it in a regular letter envelope and drop it in the mail! you should only need a 41 cent stamp to mail.....the size of the embroidery should be 4x6 or larger (size is up to the sender-the only requirement is that it be a minimum of 4X6 inches AND that whatever size you make it will fit into a STANDARD picture frame ...i.e. 4x6 or 5x7 or 8x10, etc)....embroider whatever you like, you do NOT need to cater to your partner's profile .....there will not be a lot of time between sign up and send by date (feel free to start embroidering as soon as you sign up since you can embroidery whatever you want) , style, color, fabric choice, etc are completely up to the sender...the only requirement is that it is EMBROIDERY (ie, not cross stitch, etc)...ALL skill levels are welcome to join! ********RATING: please don't forget to rate your partners....remember you are NOT rating their skill level, the money they spent, or their personal taste, etc....you are rating whether they fulfilled the swap requirements ....but please do give a heart to any special packages! NOTE: don't forget to put your username and the swap name somewhere in/on your packages (some people are in lots of swaps and it can be hard to keep track) Happy Swapping!

I just realized this waaaaay after I sent my swap packages. Let me make this clear right away, I am NOT talking about the ready made embroidery patches you buy at the store and then you iron on. Ok, that out of the way, it never dawned on me to ask if the embroidery sent had to be HAND stitched. I have a Singer embroidery machine, and thought Yay, embroider something pretty and send it in the mail. Was I wrong for sending embroidery done by my own machine? Thanks -- Yvette

Hope everyone is having fun with the swap! This swap IS intended to be a hand embroidered swap.
However since I was not clear enough about the "hand embroidered" part in the swap description I encourage everyone to give good ratings to their partners even if they don't receive something hand embroidered. Sorry about the confusion everyone, and I will definately make that more clear in the next one! ;)
