Scrumptious Sock Yarn Swap

Who doesn't love yummy sock yarn?!?! This is for all those who just can't get enough.

I love getting a surprise in the mail! And as a knitter, to recieve a package full of sock yarn just for me, well ... WOW!!! That is why I am organizing this swap.

For this swap you will be sending out enough yarn for one pair of adult socks. Please be sure you send enough yarn for the socks. No one wants to get part way thru only to find out that they don't have enough yarn to finish the pair.

You may also send out extras with the yarn, but it is not required, but if you want hearts, you could include extra items like:

More yarn Needles Crochet Hooks Stitch Markers Stitch Holders Scissors Notepads Pens Measuring tape Patterns or something from your partners profile.

Be sure to take a look at your partners profile to see what their favorite colors and fibers are, and if they have any allergies, or what sock yarn weight they prefer for socks.

I am going to set a minimum of $25 for this swap (before shipping), as I would like everyone to recieve quality sock yarn.

Please - only quality yarn! If someone states that they do not use acrylic, wool, bamboo or any other fibers PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not send these items. I suggest sending only items you would use.

Now for the rules-

I will allow newbies with a 'completed' profile and a quick email to me. I will not allow anyone with any no-sends in the last three months. You must have a completed profile and a rating of 4 or higher.

I am allowing one month for this swap, which I think should be sufficient. Please let your partner know ahead of time if you are not able to send on-time. The swap ends on Valentine's Day, so maybe that can be your inspiration for what you send.
