Sort of Quick Socks Swap 2

my preferences would be mostly cotton content and i love stripes:-), but my only absolute request is please no wool! it makes me break out in itchy red spots, eek!

Is this swap international?

I'm also into cotton based socks, or any other natural fiber. I'm size 40- not sure how it translates to us sizes..

I prefer TOE SOCKS! myself :D

I love socks. I hate to get rid of them. That said, I have socks that are older than my marriage (and I've been married 20 years) that are in desperate need of retiring. Maybe this will be the impetus to move out the old and move in the new.

Scuslidge, you have a sense of humor! me I like footie socks, the ones that don't go past your ankle. Cotton pretty please with sugar on top. LOL Anything past the ankle swells up like a ballon. It is HE double tooth picks to get old. But happy swapping everyone.

Um, I'm having a devil of a time finding "interesting" cotton socks. All of the intersting ones are poly-spandex, or cotton-poly blend. Is this going to be an issue for any cotton lovers. Hubby goes on 12's tomorrow and I become the full-time working single Mom again for indefinite!!!!

I've been assuming that majority cotton would be sufficient. I agree, it would be hard to find fun socks that aren't a cotton-poly or similar blend.

I can't speak for others, but I personally just meant, say, at least 50% or so cotton. I have to look, but have been able to find plenty even at WalMart and Target that are between 49% and 75% cotton. But some, even though cute, are like 75% acrylic, and that tends to lend to sweaty, itchy feet, ick. My toes just like to breathe :) But yeah, blends are fine.

I found 1 pair with 42% in the style my partner likes. Ugh!!! I don't care for swaety feet either, but the "cool" or "neat" socks are most often in synthetic blends, except for the miles of toe socks today, but they just wouldn't do. UGH!!!! :)
