This is part 2 of a two part swap.

Each swapper will choose one fabric included in the box they received (or an ugly fabric from their stash if they didn't participate in part 1) and create a FINISHED item to send to their new partner. You can use an UNLIMITED amount of other fabrics for the rest of your project.

The item you send must be a completed product and must use the ugly fabric throughout the project (no hiding it on the back or in a teeny corner).. Some ideas for giving your ugly fabric new life:

  1. A mug rug or small wall-hanging
  2. Coin purse
  3. Small tote
  4. Fabric bowl
  5. Pincushion
  6. Cell phone case
  7. E-reader cover

or... whatever you think can turn this ugly fabric into a beautiful work of art!

This is meant to be challenging and to develop your creative eye so have fun with it! Chat on the forum if you need ideas.

A completed package should contain the following items:

1. Your finished item you are sending to your partner using ugly fabric.

2. A sample of the ugly fabric you were working with.

Remember: the person you are sending your finished product to isn't necessarily the person that sent you the ugly fabric. Partners are assigned at random so I cannot guarantee you will receive the fabric you sent out.

Swap restrictions: US/Canada folks only for this one.

I have to get busy sewing this weekend. Don't want to give away what fabric I received,,,,but it's challenging me! It's a bit harder than I thought it would be!
