This swap is for anyone who is in love with the world that Wes Anderson has created in such movies as Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic, and The Darjeeling Limited. You can count Bottle Rocket and Hotel Chevalier if you want to. He made me fall in love with such characters as Max Fischer and Richie Tenenbaum. I longed to be a part of the Zissou Society and dream to one day take a voyage on a train to India. If you love the movies that director Wes Anderson makes then this is the swap for you. For this swap you will send your partner 3 or more items that relate to Wes Anderson's films in some way. You must include a small explanation along with your items. You can send photographs, collages, a Mix CD, clothing, anything hand-made, postcards, or a letter detailing your favorite parts of any of the movies listed above and why you enjoyed them. Your package must include at least one quote from any of his films. Send only things that you yourself would like to receive. This is for serious swappers who put thought and care into their packages. Requirements: No recent NO SENDS, Must have a rating of 4.5 or better, Swap is International, Newbies are welcome with filled out profiles and ratings from at least 5 swaps. Only sign up for this swap if you intend on sending a package. I will ban users before I assign partners if necessary. Message me if you feel you are not eligible for this swap but would still like to participate. Edit: Please try and take a photo of your swap package before you send it off or when you receive it. I'm fine with the swap date being moved a bit closer, but not too close. Maybe March if you think that's ok?

This swap is great, gives me an excuse to go rent all his movies again - and see Darjeeling Limited which is nearly finished playing at the cinemas here.

In regards to the photo: Yeah, I held a swap where I required swappers post a photo to the gallery slideshow--the link won't show up until the swap starts.

Ok. now I understand. Posting a swap photo to flickr. Sounds like a plan. I don't know about requirement though. Maybe an option. Some people may not have access to a digital camera or scanner. I think I'll make it optional. Although I would love to see what people make.

Hey Swappers! I made a little request about photographing your swap packages and posting them on flickr so that we all may view them. I also moved up the due date because I thought a month was way too long to wait for our swaps. Also this is swappers choice and you don't have to tailor it to your partner's prof. Message me with any concerns!
