Ooooh, cool! I get to try something new AND if it stinks I don't have to keep it. This is wonderful. I want to make a 3-D flower out of fabric, and I also want to take a crack at making a mosaic. Here we go!

A beaded stick pin silk painting (I have this kit that I haven't even opened yet to try out!!! - I think it makes a scarf).

I would like to try making a matchbox, a dotee doll, flat marble magnets, a zippered coin purse/pouch, and hand drawn lettersets. How could I list just 2? I have about 800 things on my crafty to-do list :^)

One of the many reasons I continue on Swap-Bot is because it challenges me to expand my artistic repertoire. This brilliant swap idea, the brainchild of our charming hostess, is another wonderful example of the exploding creativity we can find here on Swap-Bot.

So, my challenges. Like Annabelle, I have SO many things untried! I'm not even sure what a dotee doll is, so I might look that up and give that a whirl. I also want to try making a pin cushion, as well as the same coasters that rengawk listed from JennyB's AllSorts website (which I totally love and have been to very often in the past few months!). I also want to learn to knit socks, but alas I fear that may be a bit too much to take on for this swap. Although I could try one very small sock maybe. There's also a pattern I have for making a small fairy, so I might take that for a spin. Okay, that's enough choices for now. Looking forward to a fun swap!

I might try a dotee doll and maybe try wood burning a small balsa wood box with my new wood burning tool.

I just saw this swap today and it was the last day to sign-up so I haven't decided what I want to do yet. I really should only actually only make 2 things, but there are so many things I want to try.

I want to try to make an ATC, inchie, matchbox or dotee doll so that I can see if I enjoy them and join in the swapping crazes.

There are also other crafts out there that I haven't tried before that I would love to try out.

I just love learning how to do a new things so this swap appeals to me in a big way!!

I'd like to try some of the ATC techniques from Bernie Berlin's book; something with watercolors; doing something with a metal box, like an Altoid's tin.

I am going to make a softie chicken and a set of coasters

OK, it was not a kit that makes a silk scarf. it makes a silk picture.....(and i had to ditch the first one as I screwed up and glued the silk to a piece of paper)...I guess this is why the swap is "like a virgin". Second try (first finished try) turned out somewhat OK (but still to embarrassing to upload to Flickr).

I'm changing my metal box to an amigurumi. I want to see why they are so popular.

I am finished. I made a penguin and did an ATC with torn paper and paints.

My project is on the way I made an art doll from a varity of items and a necklace from a puzzle piece and old stamps. you can see a picture of the art doll here
