Here we are, our fifth installment in the Vintage Series! There will continue to be monthly variations of this theme. It has been pretty popular and thankfully minimally flaky. Wow! If you have been in from the beginning of the series you are building a nice little ATC collection :) The fifth theme is...Vintage Families. Classic & Formal Portraits, Whimsical & Fun...your choice. ATC must feature a family group, with at least one parent plus offsprings, pets...whatever as long as it keeps with the vintage motif. As far as the vintage era, I would say that technically vintage refers to the era between the 1920's and 1980's but many of the ATCs I've received and created for this series fall between early Victorian and the 1970's. So...although it is sender's choice, if would be great if you checked your partners profile and see if they express a preference. You will create one ATC for one partner. Any technique is acceptable - digital, collage, etc. as long as it is your work. Let's keep this sticker-free. Please take the time to make something that you would be proud to give and receive. •Cards must be of standard ATC size - 21/2" x 31/2" and have a sturdy backing. •Include your name & contact info, title of your card and date on the back of your card. •Please keep the artwork PG-13 - no potentially offensive or vulgar stuff! •Rating minimum 4.8 with type 3 swaps and no recent unexplained 3's or no-sends in your history. Trying to keep it as flake-free as possible, I will check profiles and ban if in doubt. I'm sorry but...yeah. Next month's theme will be (Vintage) Advertising I found a neat website with lots of royalty-free vintage images at http://e-vint.com/free.html You can also take a gander at http://www.ancientfaces.com/ If you have a website or resource to share, please post it here! Thanks! I want to thank flowerlily64 for her awesome suggestions for future swaps! Feel free to contact me with any questions. Cheers! |
