Create a tote bag for one partner using heart print or any print fabric that fits the “Valentines day” theme. Add lace or buttons or ribbons or any embellishments that make you think of “Valentines day”. I keep thinking of Victorian hearts with frills and trim and heart shaped buttons. Be creative and do your best work.

Each tote bag should have a lining, handles, and at least one pocket either on the inside or the outside of the bag. You may make the tote bag as light weight as you wish, and it should be at least 12”X12”, or larger if you want.

Requirements:

--one lined Valentines Day tote bag

--handles

--one pocket

--12 inches by 12 inches (at least)

Here are some suggestions to help get the creative idea’s flowing.

--make a coordinating zippered coin purse or make-up bag to put in the tote

--as an extra add a small notebook and pen

--make the bag reversible if you want

--add a pocket on the side for their umbrella

--add a cell phone bag or a pocket just for their cell phone
