Description:

I love cloth napkins. I find them everywhere...on clearance shelves, at craft fairs, in specialty boutiques and even thrift stores. If you want to swap some fun and interesting cloth napkins, please make sure that you send a set of at least 4 in "like new" condition or new condition. Handmade is extra special. Make sure the fabric is appropriate for the job at "hand"(lol) and not just cute.No theme on this one butyou send seasonal designs please let them be Spring or Summer rather than the Winter holidays. I am going to allow this to be international since I have created a pretty generous timeline and fabrics and colors from all over our globe just make for a more interesting supper time...don't you think? Hope you like this swap, I posted a similar one about a year ago and it turned out to be very fun!

I LOVE this swap!! I have used cloth handkerchieves lot, but not cloth napkins. So nice to try them!

I am debating this one. I love cloth napkins also.

But making sure I can find some nice ones is a challenge, I want to be able to meet, before signing up.

I found some antique ones that are white, would they be acceptable?

Are the antique napkins acceptable even though they are white?????

Hello, are you there swap host?

angelahanson1968 02/25/2012 #

I am so sorry!!!! To be honest, I am used to the newest messaged posting to the top of the board so I compleatly missed your inquiry. As far as antique white goes, I think that everyone has there own style and taste. If I was gifted with nice antique white napkins with a nice embroidered edge and of fine quality I would be very pleased. I think it is up to you. Would you be glad to recieve them or would you prefer something that might not be as nuetral or something that you'd most likely already have in your linen closet? I'd say that after you read your partner's profile, it's your call. Thanks for joining the swap, and again, please accept my appology for the sketchy communication.

hello...what about partners for this swap?

angelahanson1968 02/27/2012 #

Partners are assigned. I was trying to do it on my phone and I guess it didn't go through yesterday. It should be set now. Happy Swapping!!!!!

Just a thought.... I have several sets that I will be choosing from to send. I plan to msg my partner to find out the size of her family since some of my sets have 6 and some have 4. Four is the minimum for this swap but if you'd like to ask your partner if a few more would be useful that might be nice!
