Altered box- Tim Holtz style

For this swap, you will alter a box (not a matchbox) in the style of Tim Holtz for your partner.

The fine print:

• Non "Tim" products are allowed, just stay within vintage/grungy/shabby chic parameters.

-Box may be any shape

-Boxes you alter may be made of any material (chipboard, wood, metal, plastic) as long as it's sturdy.

-Boxes must have a lid (may be hinged lid or lift-off type)

-Minimum box width/length is 3x3". No maximum.

-Minimum height should be 1"

You can fill your box with some profile surprises for your partner, but it is not a requirement.

Boxes need not be profile specific.

Make something you would be proud to display. There's a long turn-around time on this swap, so you have lots of time to do your best work.

Use techniques! Don't just glue on paper and embellishments.

Alter a little box, a big box, a cigar box, a recipe box...
