Description:
This technique can be done on a whole sheet of glossy white cardstock or a single ATC. Dampen a piece of felt or a cotton ball with Alcohol Blending Solution or rubbing alcohol. Then add 2 drops each of 2 or 3 reinkers. Dab over the glossy cardstock until the desired effect is reached. Allow to dry before you stamp or collage on your ATC. My samples show 2 different ways I did this technique. The one on the left is dragging the felt across my cardstock & the one on the right is pouncing. Two partners each will recieve one ATC.

Doesn't polished stone usually include a metallic additive?

When I was taught this technique we did not use a metallic additive. But if people want to add it, I would say go for it.

Can we use alcohol inks?

I have not tried that but I do not think it will have the same effect.
