Help! My partner flaked! Pick up their slack!

I'll start!

1. Swap where partner was supposed to write a letter detailing what was in her purse, and send along something that goes into a purse.

2. Swap where we made each other prayer shawls. (Can you imagine? Flaking on a PRAYER SHAWL swap? And my partner was the coordinator, no less!)

3. Swap where we were to make three monster things: notecards, a finger puppet, and a stuffie or some other item made of fabric or yarn.

4. Swap where we were to make treats or toys for each other's doggies.

(I have been flaked on six swaps all together; here are four of them. the fifth is a month-long commitment, and the sixth is being angeled. :)

   send a Martha Stewart inspired item; can be store-bought or handmade; worth $8-$10

3. Happy Period Swap
   send 6 period related items. the majority should be handmade (cloth pads, cases, heating pad, journal, etc.)

4. Get Linguistic
   send a letter to your partner teaching some words in a language you know or that your partner wants to learn; at least one page, plus a letter about how you learned that language (languages I want to learn: Portugese, Arabic, American Sign Language)

I love you for this swap. And although I've only been flaked on two swaps (knock on wood), they weren't cheap ones.

What a great idea! I haven't been flaked on in Swap-Bot (so far), but I love this idea!

I have been flaked on these swaps:

1) Wish List Swap in which you made a list of 10 small items you wanted, and your partner picked out 5 things from your list and sent them to you. Never received, never compensated by hostess. (I will reproduce my old list or make up a new one for the partner who gets me - so you can decide if you want to do this one or not)

2) Also various ATC swaps and ATC supply swaps never received.

3) Puzzle piece swap never received - would have liked this one (altered jumbo puzzle piece).

Felt Pin Swap: (this was the first swap I ever joined. I was so sad.)My partner (Anne70) was supposed to make me a pin for me out of felt or any other material based on my likes/dislikes.

Hand-made inspired by Flicker Favorites: (this swap was angeled but it still wasn't based on my Flickr Favorites) My partner (boomer) was supposed to make me something, anything they could think of while looking at my Flickr Favorites. The link is on my profile.

Polaroid+Quote Swap: my partner (radiosilents) was supposed to send me a polaroid picture with a quote written in the little blank space.

Harold & Maude Lovers: I was the coordinator for this swap and my partner (cat) has yet to send me anything. The deadline was 3 weeks ago and still nothing. There is was no one to ask to angel until now. For this swap I wanted people to send a package with 3 or more items that were related to the movie Harold and Maude. This is obviously for fans of the movie but you don't have to have seen it to be able to angel it.

I hope this swap goes well. It is such a great idea. Feel free to message me if you want links to the flaked swaps or more info. I will do my best to make it up to you and be a good angel.

Hello, I've only been flaked on one swap, but it was my very first one.

For this swap, find a fairly good-sized Christmas container (like a tin, stocking, gift bag or box, etc.) and fill it with a bunch of little goodies. Try to aim for small items like candies, tea bags, little toys, pens, stickers, handmade items, jewelry, etc. There's no price range and it's hard to describe the size of container that I'm thinking of, but aim for hearts.

I'm glad this swap was created, no one likes getting flaked! I know it's well after christmas, so maybe whoever gets me can come up with a different theme like spring, easter, st. pattys day, etc.? :)

Yeah Mami. I was hoping you'd be my partner, then I could make you one. A few months ago I got a real nice email from my partner, saying she had left the Bot for the most part, but she felt bad about flaking on this swap, so she was going to try to get it done. Nice thought. Haven't heard from her since, though.
