Description:

My potholders are getting grungy, boring, and burned. So let’s knit, crochet, sew, or quilt a new one for our partner! Handmade, please.

Please note: If you’re creating your potholder masterpiece from yarn, please do not use acrylic yarn! It will melt. Probably the best textile would be a thick 100% cotton.

With your potholder, send along one of the tried-and-true recipes you use in your own kitchen. It can be on a 4 x 6 card, typed, handwritten, it doesn’t matter as long as it’s legible and you’ve made it at least once.

I've been flaked on for my last two dishcloth swaps, and it's a bummer. So I'll cover any flakers - but I'm really hoping there won't be any, okay?

I feel your pain! I hate being flaked on and its just not fair when you are reponsible enough to send out your items!

@ReaderChris - send me your mailing address and I will angel the dishcloth swap you were flaked on. I belonged to a potholder/dishcloth swap group for a while and I made a lot of them. Then I found the doll clothes swaps took up all my time. I have a really cute back to school set for you (I saw in your profile that you are a teacher).

Sorry to my partner, I just got it returned in the mail today. I'm going to put more postage on and re-send it
