Art journal page for beginners #3 - Pick a Theme!

I love to get inspired with other people's work! Hope you do too! :) I know there are lots of journal related groups but wanted to create this swap inside our group for those who are new to art jounaling so yes, this is art journaling for beginners!

For this swap, we'll make it a bit different than previous 2 swaps - you'll have 1 partner and make for them 2 art journal pages.

These pages will be in 2 themes picked from 5 themes your partner left in comments. These art journal pages are receiver's choice in themes, and sender's choice in medium and execution.

Please don't forget to list in comment section 5 preferred themes!

Requirements for art page:

• Size of the page should be 10,5 x 15 cm or close to it (1/4th of A4 size paper) so it can fit into photo album sleeve

• senders choice on theme and art medium (either it's handdrawn, painted, collage, mixed altered art, etc.)

• since it's a journal page, it should have at least one word written or collaged on front although you can use more if preferred (quote, poem, etc.)

• protect your page well for mailing (glue it on hard cardboard background or put it inside a note card)

• sign the front of the page with initial or signature

• don't forget to include your user name and name of the swap!

Since this is swap for beginners, you have to keep open mind and open heart! If you receive an art journal page, you have to rate your partner with 5 even if the art style she used is not your preferred!

As for all of you who joined this swap and are making the art journal page for 1st time, as long as you give it your best effort, it's all fine! We all have to start somewhere! So, go ahead! Take a leap! Dare! :)

I will leave a full month after assigning partners to send this swap out since we're in middle of vacation season.
