Description:

Taking photos has always been a fun, relaxing pastime for me, and now with my recent discovery/addiction to ATCs, I decided I would try and combine the two for my first swap as a coordinator!

This swap is relatively straightforward - you will have 3 partners to send 3 photo ATCs to, for a total of 9 ATCs.

The photos you take for your ATCs can be of anything you'd like, in black and white or colour, matte or glossy, etc. but please make sure that they are printed on PHOTO PAPER. Also, when making photo ATCs, because the photo itself is so flimsy, it's always a good idea to mount the photo onto cardstock.

This is an international swap and newbies are welcome with a filled out profile. No swappers with less than a 4.75 rating, please. I reserve the right to ban any questionable swappers that join this swap.

To make sure that everyone receives something for this swap, I will personally angel for all flakers.

Any question, feel free to post here or PM me.

Enjoy! =D

So, printing with an inkjet printer onto "photo paper" is acceptable?

BrandiMR 03/ 7/2008 #

sultry peacock - If you're satisfied with the outcome of the images being printed that way -- I set that limit so that the ATCs wouldn't be printed onto white office paper - we're looking for good quality photos for these ATCs. =)

Sorry if this is a silly question...but do we or can we do anything else to the photo? Or is this simply a picture of our choosing applied to an ATC?

BrandiMR 03/11/2008 #

TheRoseCottage - Good question! I'm sorry I didn't address it in the description! I would say that just as long as a photo is used as the focal point of the ATC, you can embelish it in any way that you feel comfortable! (For example, I am doing some editing in photoshop for mine)

I've selected my photos and am working on mine this afternoon. I think everyone asked the questions I had. I am really going to have to edit to make them fit the standard ATC size. :D

Ok. I'm going to join this BECAUSE I don't know much about photo manipulation! So, I'll start with photos and try to do 9 different 'adjustments' using Photo Shop. Sort of a personal, creative, zany tutorial of sorts. Expect the unexpected.

I totally missed on some of these ATCs (this is my first photo swap). I reaaranged and collaged photos, but wasn't neccessarily the taker of all them (but gave the credit where it was due). Sorry, to anyone who got collaged photos or edited photos I did not take myself. Please mail me at My swap-Bot contact(I don't remember who got what) and I will know who to send more to.
