Made a mistake - lost a letter, forgot to send something ages ago, have your dog eat your notes for a swap? Keep finding that you're bared from swaps because of it? Or perhaps you're new and haven't had a chance to build up "credit" yet. Well, now you have a chance to upgrade your rating - for this swap, all that you need to do is send a postcard or notecard to your partner, giving a short but imaginative excuse for making a swap-botting mistake - it could be a true tale or purely fiction - and your partner should grant you a five! You will have two weeks to send out your card/note - plenty of time!

Hmmm, I think the title is really misleading. I clicked on it only because I couldn't believe what I was reading. "Improve Your Rating Swap" would have been more accurate. This isn't as pedantic as you might think. Having a "1" rating out of over 1000 (5+) ratings sucks!

Good point. Name changed! ;)

I'd like to give some advice and I hope it doesn't offend because I don't mean to, but I've checked into ratings of some participants of this swap and you are able to improve your ratings by contacting your partners who are still active participants and make good on what you agreed to. I know not all ratings are fixable but some users signing up for this don't appear to have even tried to right their wrongs.

Doing any swap responsibly will improve your ratings. Thanks for considering this.
