Tattoo Photo SwaP Tattoos - they bring out so many of our human conditions - from curiosity to awe, from revulsion to fear, from disgust to judgement, tattoos can and do touch so many people in so many different ways. For this swap, you will E-MAIL to FOUR different partners what you consider to be your favourite/best personal tattoo. When you e-mail the tattoo photo, send along with it an explanation of what the tattoo is, what it means to you, the artist and shop where you got it done, and if you can remember, when you go it done. Got it? **WARNING Some tattoos may be considered explicit or offensive. If you're easily offended or are very sensitive, DO NOT sign up for this swap. There may be no offensive tattoos, but there may be. You HAVE BEEN** WARNED. RULES : __*ONLY_ people with tattoos allowed in this swap! No photos off the net, or 'some friend' you know who had one. Only YOUR personal tattoos. Newbies are allowed, but message me first. Ratings of 4.6 and above only. Any '1' on your profile will get you automatically banned. I WILL* be checking all profiles. Just as a curiosity, where did you find the most painful to get done a tattoo?

For me, it would have to be my chestplate, where the tattoo gun was grating against the bone. I have heard as well the ankle is pretty difficult to get done.

I only have one tattoo (on my ankle) so I can't compare, but it didn't hurt much until the tattoo artist was nearly finished - then he hit a nerve or something. YOW. It stung for weeks in that one corner of the tattoo!

i have flames that go around my whole leg.. the thing is they ITCHED HORRIBLY - PAINFULLY FOR MONTHS_ not weeks.. MONTHS. they believe i am allergic to the red ink. so i have it UNDER My skin and it's all messed up. I would wake up itching it... worse itch i have EVER had and i have NOT gotten another one sense... i have 6 Vee*

I only have one- on my ankle. The most painful part was where it is right on the bone about 3 inches up from my ankle. It is daisies with the leaves and stem my kid's initials. I had white on the petals but it doesn't really take. I'd like to get some red there but am not sure if I want to even do a re-touch. I had always loved tattoos and put fakes on for about 5 years. It was "wrong" and I didn't get it until I was 46- the second act of life.

Ohh, the wrists! I forgot how that felt. When I think about what hurt, tattoo wise, everything else is overshadowed by the ribs.... How about the ditch of your elbow, collarbone, and the stomach? Ouchy.

I have one on my upper arm and one on my ankle ~ the ankle one hurt whereas the arm one didn't!!

I have no tats, but I know people with some cool tats (my son and my daughters boyfriend) I know the meanings of them as well. Would this be ok? If not, please let me know so I can drop out of the swap. thanks!
