Grp: Jam: September Assignments

Starter set sent to djcamp04, my 1st partner today (9-19-12)

Maybe it's me, but this isn't working. I sent to my first partner, I got a set from my partner and sent it to my second partner. Now I have another set that I got from a partner that I am 2nd on and no one to send to. Now what?

Sounds like I have some unraveling to do... Monday.

In the ideal world, everyone should have sent ONE set to their first partner by now. Hopefully many of us will have received that to be second on, and we're able to rate one partner.

When you have added the second part, send it to your 2nd partner, and mark this swap as "sent".

When you get your 2nd set of 3, it should be ready to finish -- so you will finish it, rate the sender, & have 2 completed ATCs to mail out to the others that worked on that set (their info should be on the back). You would keep one ATC of that set, and 2 other ATCs should invldivdually show up from the other sets you worked on.

I have not yet received a first set.

I made a poor assumption about the way swap-bot assigns partners -- although everyone's name was used twice, they are listed in alphabetical order so if we follow that, some folks would be "2nd" twice and some would be "3rd" twice, so I am trying to adjust some partner assignments - check your email. I wonder if we should set up swaps just so that people cd/ more easily express their interest in a month, but then hand assign and cancel the swap? ... probably I'll just put up a forum post to see who is interested in October starts.

I sent a starter set to @jj9jj I then received two sets as the third to complete from Deb/Laura and Laura/Evelyn.

I will be working on these over the next 2-3 days. So i don't have anything to send to my second assigned partner who is @hlwolfe72

OK, I think I have untangled this as simply as possible, especially since I did not realize soon enough! What I have come up with means that I would like evieroz & jj9jj to be 2nd twice & finishers once; also, armadillogal to be a 2nd partner once & a 3rd twice – but let me know if this is a problem! otherwise, sorry & thanks! And lsmahutchin volunteered to start a new set if needed – which it was, so more thanks there!

   So who you can rate may be a bit different than your reality, please be fair. If anyone flakes, I will tear my hair out, uhm figure out what I need to do. I did not look at addresses/countries when I made the changes, if anyone is hit too hard with postage, let me know & I will send you something to try & make you feel better.

Just wondering where we are on this because I still have not received any sets from this swap!

I finally have all th jams I have sitting here ready to mail plus the starter set I owe Evelyn. So sorry...I just don't think that system worked. I would prefer if someone has a set they want to send to me that they just e-mail me to ask If I want to play. Thanks!

I am really confused now....all I know is all the above have been sent/rec'd by me...I only have 4 completed jams in my book and 2 of them are not from this group.
