Description:

This is a pretty easy swap and it´s perfect for people who love crafting and writing letters.

You make three pretty envelopes yourself and send these three to one partner. It doesn´t matter if you only design a plain store-bought new envelope of if you tinker a new envelope. Please do NOT only put some stickers on a white envelope. That´s boring.

Remember not to make your envelope too full of stuff, the reciever should be able to use it and write an adress on it.

Please make enevlopes which you can really use, not too big sizes or not too small.

Newbies with filled out profiles are allowed. No flakers! I will angel if you don´t recieve anything. Be creative! :)

OH! i wish i could really join this swap... 31 to Nov 4 which is a SUNDAY here is a long holiday because of all soul's day... it's a national holiday here. Sigh! :) Hopefully next time again Post office are close. ;( BUT this is surely going to be a great swap. Happy swapping.

Indeed, there is little time for this swap. I can send it oct 31/ nov 1. But this swap will not arrive before november 4. I live in Holland (Europe).

Will do do the 2nd edition later? I can't join this swap because I don't have enough money at the moment :(

artsymimi 10/29/2012 #

i would love to join if we had more time , i watch out for a next time

fawnscrafts 10/29/2012 #

Can we use a business white envelope?

CraftyCloud 10/30/2012 #

When do I get my partner assigned? I'm impatient, I know....... In Europa it's 8 hours later of course.......

SusiLetter 10/30/2012 #

@Crafty cloud: I´m from Europe, too, Partners are assigned now! @fawnscraft Yes, as long as you make it beautiful, you can use a white envelope as basic.

At all: I thought a week would be enough to make three envelopes. If you´ll have not send your stuff at the final day, please let your partner know via message! That should not be a big problem. Next time I will make a longer time between signup date and send date, okay? ;)

Three envies don't take long to make. Besides, they can be made ahead of time since it's not something that is profile based.

Ohhhh I missed this one!!!! Can you PM me if you do another one of these? I love making envelopes.

Meantime - I'm in Australia - if anyone wants to do a private swap with me for handmade envelopes? Say two each? PM me :)

here is an idea of what my envelopes look like

Or this one (the one behind the postcard obviously!!)

Rubiadejimani 10/31/2012 #

Weren't there two(!) partners initially in this swap? Oh well, I guess I can keep the remaining three envelopes I made for a next time...

SusiLetter 10/31/2012 #

@Rubiadejimani No, I never changed the number of partners.

A packet of envelopes is headed to Canada from the U.S. winging through the postal service to my partner. Enjoy!

That is nuts I did the exact same thing as Rubiadejimani. I thought for certain it said 2 partners too and I made 6 envelopes. I will keep mine for another time as well. I read your comment and thought it was odd someone else did the same!
