OK, I know you're out there, you people like me who like our boring old un-herbal, un-green, plain old black tea. This swap is for tea drinkers like us! It can be English Breakfast tea, Prince of Wales tea, another variety, or just plain old tea, but it has to be black tea from a tea plant. We will have 3 partners each and send each one a minimum of 4 tea bags (no more than 2 of the same.) This swap is international. Newbies can participate but need a full profile. Others should have at least a 4.5 rating. I will ban anyone who seems in danger of flaking. As always, PM me if you have a question.

Thanks for jumping on board heatherlayne! I've always wanted to do a tea swap, but was turned off by the possibility of getting anise tea or an herbal cleanse or something horrific like that. So... here we are!

Just a couple of questions ...

As in your other tea swap, are teabags which aren't individually wrapped acceptable, as long as they are fresh and are carefully wrapped for their journey?

Also, are these to be only different varieties of plain black tea, not black teas with flavourings (except perhaps ones which have become recognised varieties in their own right like Earl Grey and Lady Grey)?

teabags not individually wrapped are ok, as long as they're fresh, unyucky and well packaged, like in my other swap.

As far as flavorings, I think we should avoid anything too out of the ordinary since this is the Boring black tea swap. I think sending one flavored teabag would be ok (as long as it's black!), but it should mostly just be regular black tea.

On the receiving end, for my partners' info, I'm fine with Earl Grey or other "flavoured" black teas, and loose leaf tea is always welcome as I'm all set with infusers and diy tea bags. But plain and pre-bagged is yum & fine as well:) If it's black and has cafferine, I'll love it!
