Description: | |
With the New Year fast approaching it is time to start thinking about those goals we want to start working on. This swap will give you the chance to do that and even be accountable. For this swap you will copy the questions that are in bold and Fill the answers in. You may hand write or type it, then make 3 photocopies of it to send out. Mail a copy to each partner by the deadline so that they can write you back a note of encouragement. For this swap you will be sending a total of 6 letters. You will send your 3 assigned partner your goals written down/typed. Then when you receive your 3 partners goals in the mail you need to read about their goals and with a few days send them back a letter of encouragement. i made the deadline for mailing a couple weeks before the New Year so that there would be time to get it to your partner and hopefully give you you time to receive your partner's letter and respond to them with a note. This letter should not be on a postcard. It must be private so... a notecard in an envelope or a letter. Don't just do the first part of this swap and then forget the most important part of the swap which is encouraging another swapper in meeting their goals. Please do not divulge the specifics of your partners goal on their profile page when rating. It is vital that everyone have a good experience with this. It would be horrible if someone flaked and you really could have used that extra encouragement to meet your goal. So to join this swap only those with a 4.95 or better. No recent 1's or 3's. All who join must have at least 5 Type 2 or 3 swaps under their belt. I will check all who sign up. Also... do not message me asking for an exception. I am not budging. I will angel any spots that are needing an angel. Please let me know if two weeks go by and you do not hear from your partner. I will angel once you have given your partner a 1. In the letter first of all include your name and Swap-bot name. Then write the question and answer it: Inventory4 Goals I hope to achieve in the coming year (work, relationships, health…): 1-2-3-4-ResolutionsFrom the list above, choose the most important, must-do/can-do item. Write it as Resolution #1. Keep it realistic. Start with something you know you can do. Remember that pledging to work on something may be more doable than resolving to get it done (that is, try “Look for a better job” rather than “Find a better job”). Resolution #1-Great, you’ve got a resolution. Next, think about how to actually accomplish it. What are the steps? For example, if you want to start exercising more, steps might include “Get running shoes out of the closet,” “Set alarm earlier to make time for exercise,” “Run a little every day.” Again, keep it grounded in reality: try thinking up steps that you know you can actually get done.
