I've had the idea for this swap for awhile, but @IsadoraWing came up with it first, so please check out her swap Here. I enjoy learning new words...new to me at least and the definitions seldom make sense to me. So, for this swap I'd like to introduce you to seldom used words to see what you think they mean. 1.) At the end of the swap description, I'll list two words in bold. 2.) You need to make 1 postcard for each word that illustrates the meaning of the word. Draw, paint, collage, whatever. 3.) On the back of the card, write your definition of the word. 4.) Mail 1 card to each partner 5.) DON'T look up the word in a dictionary, Google search, etc because the whole point of the swap is to guess! 6.) The postcard should be sent naked, so make sure it's strong enough to survive the trip 7.) After all swaps have been sent, I'll post the word definitions on this page. 8.) Yes, each partner gets 1 of the words and it's okay if you already know what the word means, but it might be more fun if you pretend to be clueless!

This is just like a game I used to make people play, lol - dictionary! I think it's sold as an actual game, too, but we just used a dictionary - you close your eyes, open the dictionary and point at a word (in this case, NOBODY can know what it means). The others write out what they think the word means, and the person who picked the word reads out the meanings people wrote down, and decides which one s/he thinks is right. During the game, people can encourage or discourage the decider to pick (or not) a meaning. Not sure if this is clear, but it's a lot of fun. Maybe the winner of these games can be the host of the next one! But, the host couldn't know what it means either.
