Description:

Ah, the age old art of mix tape making. I like to keep the dream alive (and I don't make mix cds!)

For this swap you will make one mix tape for one partner. Your tape must have packaging, some sort of track listing, and be at least 60 minutes long. It can be longer if you wish. You will have two weeks after partners are assigned to send out your cassettes.

You must be in good standing on swap-bot. No recent no-sends and at least a 4.7 rating. Contact me with any concerns. Newbies welcome if they contact me first. International welcome.

What a great idea for a swap! I used to make these all the time in the 80's!! Do we need to go by our partners profile for music taste, or do we just put a mix of stuff on there? If we can just put a mix on there, I'm going to start working on mine this week :)

Thanks for offering such a fun swap!!!

I love this idea. I still have a tape player in my car so I'm definately in. :)

We were just digging through our music and found some old, hardcore punk that my husband had mixed on tape for when he got his first car way back in the early 90s. Very special, I tell you.

you should make a tape you would want to listen to, but if your partner HATES a certain type of music maybe adjust for that. i think we will all get something new and interesting.
