Description:

Who is in the mood for some friendship books? :) For this swap you will have 2 partners and you will MAKE a friendship book for each of them.

After this swap you will have 2 FBs circulating around the world that will eventually be sent back to you.

The requirements: You will be signing each FB you make and then sending each partner the friendship book you made for your other partner. That means you make a FB for partner 1 (and sign it) and send it to partner 2 and vice versa.

If you don't know what a friendship book is, here is swap-bot's definition: A booklet that is passed via the mail from person to person. It includes addresses of all the signers and is intended for the recipient to find new penpals and/or swap partners. It is generally made of a few pages of paper (any size, but usually made to fit in a standard size envelope) stapled together. The cover or front page includes who made the booklet (complete with name and address) and who the booklet was made for (complete with name and address). The rest of the booklet is reserved for the “signers.” The person who signs the last available space then sends the booklet back home to the person the booklet was made for.

NO FLAKERS please. No recent 1's or 3's. I will check everyone's profile individually and ban if necessary.

Any questions or concerns, post below or message me! Happy Swapping!

I'll search a nice booklet first...then join if I could find before the deadline ^^

so that I am straight on this, we make two books and send them to two different people. Will we continue to receive books from different people as they make their way through the mail? And when they do, do we just sign it with name and address or do we write a little note or a picture along with it?? Just want to make sure I am right before I get started.

@roaddummy Yes, you will make two books for your two partners and send each book to the opposite partner to sign. Then I will make a new swap (2 weeks after the deadline for this swap) and we will continue to send them around :)

You can sign with your name, address and what you are looking for (pen pals, swappers, etc.) You can add anything else you like, such as what you can swap or specific things you're looking for. It's really up to you!

How many pages is the booklet about to contain?

sammalmquist 12/ 4/2012 #

@Elisabeth I normally do about 10 :)

Thank you@sammalquist. That does help and that is what in thought, but just wanted to be sure. One last question. Do the pages have to be a certain type of paper or can I use pretty papers as long as they can be written on clearly???? Thank you for helping me!

sammalmquist 12/ 5/2012 #

@roaddummy I'm glad I could help! You can use any type of paper you like as long as it can be written on clearly and will fit into an envelope!

I love reading good books, I think this is a very good habit to avoid playing stickman fighter all day like other young people today.
