Description:

I know there's a snowflake swap and a Sandy Hook swap going on right now but I saw this campaign on the PTSA website for Sandy Hook students and felt moved to spread the word.

Please, help the students of Sandy Hook have a winter wonderland at their new school! Get Creative! Make and send snowflakes to:

Connecticut PTSA

60 Connolly Parkway

Bldg 12, Ste 103

Hamden, CT 06514

by January 12, 2013 though I've set an end date of January 7 to allow travel time.

All are welcome to participate. Simply send one snowflake to the Sandy Hook students and, to make this more of a community swap, send one partner a handmade snowflake as well. I hope flaking won't be an issue but if it is I'm happy to angel. Let's send some love to the students of Sandy Hook and help them feel safe as they return to school.

Great idea. I will be doing a PC swap for the school, but I think I will give it a month, then when they think the world has forgotten them I will have a PC swap going for them.

Is this a paper snowflake?

@pennypuppy - Yes, a paper snowflake though you could get creative with the kind of paper
