Square Mandala

One mandala for one partner - with square or rectangular symmetry instead of the typical circle. It can be a circle inside a square (but it must be a drawn, printed, colored, etc.square and not just the 6x6 inch square of the paper)

On 7 inch X 6 inch sturdy paper (at least 65 pound or cardstock weight).

Make the mandala on the rightmost 6" X 6", leaving the leftmost inch blank so that it can be bound into a book. This is the same format as @sagesparrow s public Mandala of the Month swaps, and @latentsmile s Color Mandala swaps in this group. ( I stagger my dates for mid-month sending.)

You may draw, paint, collage, zentangle, or use a combination for your mandala. There is a thread for a discussion of mandala definitions with lots of links in the group forum too. Have fun with it, relax while you draw, create something beautiful. (No one expects it to compare to the hundreds of hours traditional sand mandalas that monks create!)
