Old Fashioned Penpals and Tea

Hello everyone,

I am truly a romantic and I love being able to write back and forth to others using my stylus and ink. Sitting at a low table while sipping tea between the hours of 3-5PM and reading and writing letters is such a joy to me! Especially when I can put on a beautiful Victorian inspired dress and hat while doing so.

For this swap, you must have means to write with a quail and ink, a stylus and ink, or some sort of other historical writing method.

You will have one partner and to that partner you will send at least a one page full letter and a bag of tea for them to enjoy while reading your letter and writing you back.

The letter must be legible and written using a historical method. The spacing between lines must be no more then around half an inch. The letter must be written on a standard letter sized piece of paper, 8.5 x 11. For this swap, you only need to write on one side of the page both times (your initial letter and your reply), but you can choose to write on longer paper or on both sides of the page or on more than one page even, front and back if you choose. These are just simply minimum requirements for this swap. Try to make your hand writing look beautiful as best you can.

There is no need to send a bag of tea with your reply letter. But, you may do so if you'd like to treat your partner. The single bag of tea (no loose tea leaves) must be included with your initial letter though.

It is my hope that after this swap has ended, those participating will continue to write to each other.

No newbies please. You must have participated in a flat mail swap within the last 6 months. No 1s or 3s within the past 3 months. A minimum rating of 4.5 is required. I will be checking profiles before I assign partners and will write a little note explaining why to those I might have to drop from this swap.
