Description:

This swap is for playing card lovers. The theme is local tourist deck from your area. Do not sign up if you don't know where to find some! Nearly every Wal-Mart has a section with tourist souvenirs that include cards and they are inexpensive.

SWAP REQUIREMENTS:

1.) For this swap you will have one partner to send one, new, full deck of regular playing cards (not poker pinocle etc). Some come in cases - others in boxes, but they should be new and still wrapped in plastic. This isn't a thrift store or vintage swap so nothing old.

The theme is for the local, tourist type from your area. My example doesn't have the name very large on it, but the idea is if you live in San Francisco your cards should say San Francisco on them, if you live in Dallas then it should say Dallas on the front etc. If you live in an area that isn't represented by the cards (like a small city) then a deck with your state name is fine. Don't wait to shop - buy now - as this isn't profile specific.

2.) Send on time and rate fairly. Sending late means it didn't meet all of the swap requirements and your partner can rate you a three. Not rating at all is not only rude, but it isn't following Swap-bot rules. If you are new to swap-bot sending on time means to mail by the send date - not that it has to be received by the partner by that date.

SWAPPER REQUIREMENTS:

U.S REGIONAL ONLY, but you can host the same swap and set it up for your region or international for all.

Newbies with complete profile - it gives others an idea of what to send. Here's your chance to build ratings by doing a great job.

No experienced swappers with 1s or ratings below 4.95. I don't usually drop swappers until right before I assign partners. I read every profile, and I do drop people who I think might present a problem to other swappers (not regional U.S., several threes, ratings slipping, comments that you send late, a lot of resends, no recent signing in, being listed as a problem swapper etc.)

Don't join when you know you don't meet the requirements.

does size or shape of deck matter?

yes, size matters (Ha ha) the first part of the description says regular size deck of cards. Thats a pretty standard size sold for these tourist deck of cards. I think card size is narrower for bridge decks. Just a regular standard size.
