Junk Journal

update 30/5/13 as if as there's no limit, different types of how people making junk journals.. please PM me if you have any question or if you're not sure about something that i describe below =) .. also i'm always adding 1 things or another in the description so make sure you check it back, but it's pretty laid back journal.. simple one.. just put all your stash together..

if you're not sure about putting something or decide to make something different that what stated in the description, please do COMMUNICATE with your partners and see if he/she will be fine with it =), as the partner, please reply asap within 3 days the most cause people want to get going..

In this swap you will have to make 1 junk journal for 1 partner.. the inside of the journal have to use junk papers that you have around (your old magz, old paper book, brochures, city map, subway ticket, etc)

This is not a "JUNK" journal as you only collect all the junk papers you have and stapled them together, but you're establish a journal for your partner to smash or use it for journaling made from all your junk papers .. please take a look for more ideas on youtube, or PM me if you're not really sure about it..

however, the journal should be:

• weight between 100 - 500gr or more

• size between 4"x6" - 6"x8" (if you want to make a bigger or smaller size please ask your partner first)

• at least have 3 tags and 3 envelopes/pockets

• at least have 20 sheets (40pages front and back)

• if you decide to use a composition book, please at least decorate 20 pages wit scrap papers/art, not just stamping or inking

• feel free to re use junk mail envelope or paper bags as the pages, but please decorate it a bit don't leave it all blank as "junk mail envie" if you know what i mean..

• any kind of binding (sew, spiral, O-ring)

• feel free to include your ART

• put 1 teabag or more inside the journal for a tea pause (don't include if your partner doesn't like any)

• make a sturdy cover from a cardstock, old hardcover book's cover, or cartoon but covered with something and leave the title blank, if you want to decorate only the edges (anything sturdy, can even be from a cereal box covered with scrap papers not just a single layer of magazine paper)

• no "plain blank WHITE" paper more than 3 sheets (stamped, have stickers or die cuts are ok, but not all pages on the journal are plain and only stamped)

• writing pages and brochures have to be balance in amount (not everything brochures. Or you can attach note paper on top of it for a writing space)

• on the first page you will decorate it with your partner's name

• on the second and the third page you will fill it with everything about you, your address label, or write a lil note for your partner, describing you and attach all your favourites, pictures, movie pictures, fave food, etc..

• please check your partner for dislikes for colour preferences and any (for example if he/she doesn't like too girly stuff, don't put glittery thing and all cute fairies and princess everywhere)

• stickers are better come separately from the journal (but of course it's fine to put a bit in here or there)

• if you're making MORE than 20 sheets already (40 pages front and back) feel free to add plain papers, etc for journaling.. as long as the journal have to weight at least 100gr..

• lastly, just be as creative as you want! it's a junk journal after all =) save the earth! yay!

I will check all the participants so, ratings 4.9 with no unresolved 1 or 3's in 2 months.. have to complete at least total of 30 swaps type 2 and 3, active in swapping and online at least 2 days before partner assigned.. i'll check EVERY participants.. i have the RIGHT to ban whoever i think is not qualified for the swap, sorry but i will have to ensure the safety of our swappers =(

there's 1 month time to make the journal so do it wisely, send on time, RATE your partner and DON'T FLAKE..

i will angel if necessary but in junk papers not more than 100gr not as a journal, sorry Spain postage is a killer =(

i can angel 1 package (means the first person) with a moleskine blank notebook + profile surprise up to 500gr... i can make another junk journal but it will take time =)
