You will create a zine centered around 1 RECIPE. You will pick 1 recipe of something that you like to cook. Then in your zine:

Write/Type the actual recipe but if possible include step by step instructions.

*Have illustrations of the prepared dish- may be sketches or photos (google images is a good source).

If you wish you may include tips for preparing or multiple versions of the same recipe. Like multiple versions of Lasagna or Jello.

SWAP GUIDELINES:

*To create your zine you may use any type of techniques. So sketch, collage, word processor, typewriter, handwritten, photos.... create it as you wish. BUT YOU MUST HAVE THE ENTIRE RECIPE INCLUDED FOR YOUR PARTNERS TO PREPARE AND EAT, IF THEY WISH.

*The completed size must be no larger than quarter page (about 4.5 inches x 5.5 inches). Minimum 8 pages (including front and back covers).

Zines will be a photocopy of the original one you created in color or black and white

*Make it, copy it, put it together and mail one copy each to your 4 partners.

Swappers must have a minimum rating of 4.95, no unexplained 1's or 3's.

What is a zine??? A zine is a magazine/pamphlet/booklet that you make and publish yourself (usually photocopied). They can contain anything you like for example: Poetry, opinions, recipes, a comic, photographs, stories, reviews, sketches, personal experience, journal style.
