Description:

For this swap you will have 1 partner and to that partner you will send 1 piece of mail art in the form of an envelope. The challenge is that your mail art must include 6 of the following 12 elements:

  • piece of a carryout menu

  • a ticket

  • something green

  • something pink

  • image of someone famous

  • butterfly or a bee

  • piece of a piece of junk mail

  • playing card or piece from a game (i.e., monopoly money, community or chance card, instruction card, etc)

  • postage stamp (used)

  • headline from a newspaper article

  • an animal (includes sea creatures and birds)

  • piece of a map

Remember, you only have to use 6 of the 12 elements but you're free to use more.

Requirements:

  • 1 mail art to 1 partner

  • envelope must measure at least 4" x 5" but can be larger

  • include a note to your partner detailing which categories you fulfilled

  • include a small flat surprise for your partner (sender's choice)

  • send on time

  • have fun!

Participants must have a cumulative 4.9 and be rated for 7 Type 3 swaps. If you do not meet these requirements, message me. If you sign up and do not meet these requirements and do not contact me, then I would have to exclude you from the swap but I like to draw the circle to include everyone, so just message me. Join with confidence; I'll angel the swap if necessary.

@Jess79 yes it is fine to use both sides of the envie to complete the challenge

@nancylee I will definitely do a US only -- I have such a hard time excluding international folks when there are so many US only swaps already but I do understand postage costs are high--I like to eat every month instead of just buy postage!
