♥ Foodie Goodies: High Tea

High tea (or afternoon tea if you're British), always conjures up images of girlfriends sipping tea in pretty porcelain floral tea cups, surrounded by an assortment of sweet & savoury pastries, and indulging in girly gossip ;)

My budget take on high tea sessions started in an attempt to relax & unwind after a crazy work week.. Now a Saturday ritual that I eagerly look forward to, I've found immense joy in sipping on a hot beverage (most likely a recently discovered variety), munching on teeny tiny pastries (I love feeling like a giant), and catching up on the week's celebrity gossip on E! or (if the sun's out) lazing in the sun with a good book.. :)

{HOW THIS WORKS}

• Help your partner create their own home-made high tea by sending them 2 beverages and 1 finger-food item
• Suggestions for the beverage include-- tea bags/sachets, coffee beans/sachets/cups, hot chocolate sachets, etc.. Please comment below if you have a preference for hot or cold beverage, and beverage type (e.g. I would prefer hot beverages and no fruity teas pls)
• Suggestions for the food item include-- scones, jams & jellies, biscuits, nut butters, honey, shortbread, cookies, macarons, tarts, cupcake mix, etc..

{SIMPLE GUIDELINES}
* The spending limit is US$5 or £4 or €4 (before shipping)
* For health & customs reason, please only send commercially sealed and non-expired food items
* You are responsible for figuring out the best way to ship your items depending on their size and how fragile they are!
* Ziplock baggies are your best friend! Don't forget that seals on jars can pop in flight, & powders/crumbs have a way of escaping their sachets.
* This is a profile-based swap, so please check your partner's profiles for their likes/dislikes, and for any other information you might need like allergies or diet restrictions

{REQUIREMENTS}
* Everyone must have over a 4.96 rating to participate
* No unexplained or unresolved 1s or 3s
* Please have a well filled profile, and include any diet restrictions &/or allergies :)
* I will be checking all profiles before assigning partners, and reserve the right to block anyone that doesn't meet the swap requirements and/or looks suspicious
* If you get delayed sending out the swap, please be responsible and communicate with your partner & me, and inform us ahead of time
