Description:

Here is a master board technique that is a little bit different than what we have been doing. I hope you enjoy it!

You will create a rubber stamp & ink master board using the technique shown HERE.

If you cut your master board into ATC sizes you will end up with 9 pieces that are 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". Send 2 ATC's made from the same master board to both of your partners...that's 4 ATC's total.

You can still create the ATC's using just the master board you created OR you can cut your ATC from the master board & add additional embellishments to it. Either way is fine.

The Twinchies I created above was made using the same master board technique.

LMK if you have any questions. Thanks!!

Is there a guideline for what the background paper needs to be?

Also, it says "Twinchies" in the description, where it should say ATCs. ;)

Oh, haha, ignore the Twinchies comment. :)

i am also curious about the background...so is it just a watercolor random color background and only different stamps on it...

I made mine on regular cardstock, & then mounted it onto cardboard (or whatever stiff paper, or board you use to back your ATC's.)

I used Tim Holtz distress inks & the sponge tool applicator on mine. You can also use your regular ink pads & rub the ink right onto the paper, or use some other type of sponge, or tool to lay the color down.

LMK if you have any more questions.

So it has to be inks on the background?

jannieb 07/ 1/2013 #

Yes...this swap calls for inks to be used in the background in this swap.

I can make the next swap "your choice" and everyone can work in different mediums...acrylic paints, inks, watercolors, etc. Does that sound OK?

Okie doke, thanks for getting back to me. I shall give it a try, but I'm not hopeful on the results. I don't have a lot of ink pads. Worth a shot though!
