Description:

This month's swap is for all of us who love the winter holiday season, and like getting started early! December holidays in July.

This is an international swap.

You will make two hand-knit or crocheted dishcloths to be sent to one partner. You can pick any design, as long as it fits the theme of the holiday chosen by your partner -- Winter Solstice, Channukah, Christmas or Kwanzaa.

I am making the time between sign-up & send fairly long to ensure you have enough time to find/create an appropriate pattern.

A few ideas:

Christmas: Santa Claus, candy cane, or a non-specific pattern in red or green.

Channukah: dreidl, menorah, or a non-specific pattern in white, blue or silver.

Kwanzaa: corn, Unity Cup (goblet) or a non-specific pattern in red, green or black.

Winter Solstice: yule log, holly, or a non-specific pattern in white, green or red.

These cloths are meant to be functional, so please don’t use fancy LYS yarns.

This swap is open to all swappers with a rating of 4.8 or above and no no-sends in the last 6 months – wherever you live! Newbies with a completed profile (with some good juicy details, people, help your partner out!) are very welcome indeed.

Don't forget to provide your holiday of choice in the Discussion section below!

I'd like Winter Solstice and/or Christmas cloths. :-)

I would like Christmas or Winter Solstice, but will be happy with whatever is sent!

I would enjoy Christmas cloths most - along with snowmen, snowflakes, gingerbread men, ornament cloths etc. Thanks -

May I ask for Chanukka-related cloth, with Winter Solstice a close second? Many thanks.

I celebrate a secular Christmas holiday, but really am fine with anything seasonal. If your tradition is Kwanzaa or Hannukah, I think that'd be a cool dishcloth to receive too. It's outside my tradition, but I sign up for swaps to be outside my zone.

Personally, I'd pick Winter Solstice, but whatever you'd like to knit will be fine with me :) I'm easy to please.

Anything Christmas, Kwanzaa or Winter Solstice

Anything is fine, although I'd prefer not solid bright yellow. :)
