Description:

Summer is ending and kids are returning to school. And, while I have taught my kids to share, there are some things I'd rather they not share - especially germs!! My kids can stay home from school when they are sick, but I cannot take a sick day. Hence, the need for a survival package!!

Here are some ideas to include in your care package:

  • facial tissues
  • hot drink mixes (hot chocolate, hot apple cider)
  • coffee/tea
  • cough drops
  • lip balm
  • hand soap
  • hand towel
  • warm and fuzzy socks
  • vitamin C drops
  • puzzle books (word search, suduko, crossword)
  • water bottle
  • toothbrush and toothpaste (throw the old ones out once you are better)
  • hair ties/headband
  • breath mints
  • facial cleansing wipes
  • hand cream
  • lip balm
  • energizing body wash
  • stress ball
  • light, easily read book/magazine

SWAP:

  • choose 5 items (or more, 5 is the minimum)
  • there is no minimun spending amount
  • include a note including the reasons you included the items

While what you include in your package is up to you, think about what you would enjoy when you are sick.

Please read profiles for allergies, beverage preferences etc

This is the first swap I have done for a group. Please, ask questions, make suggestions. But, the most important thing - have fun!!

Just had a small question, can we send things other than what you listed?

MrsSparkle 08/29/2013 #

@Ginger4520 Yes, by all means! What I listed are just suggestions, somewhere to start :)
