Traveling Art Journal

To celebrate my 40th birthday, which is in three years. I want to travel the world but due to illness, (I have fibromyalgia and serious kidney problems) I am not physically able to do so and I don't know if I will ever be able to do so. Therefore, I want to send a journal that will travel to each of you guys; where you can share bits and pieces of yourself, as my lovely friends. I'd love to get to know you as my birthday present. This too will be how I travel all over the world, through your hands. :)

The journey will start from San Diego (since i write this text it goes to Hawaii and Las Vegas) and after a long trip around The US, it'll make its way back to Europe. The journal will travel around Europe and then head off to Asia/Australua

The idea is for it to travel to 40 different places. If it's more that will be great, I will be very happy.

Step 1: I will send you a snailmail/email that the journal is on it's way to you. Once you recieve it, email me.

Step 2 : When you receive it. Take a pic of the envelope (don't show me the surprise loooolll) and send me this pic or follow it on Instagram with #cheefajournal

Feel free to decorate it with anything, paint, drawing, sketches, scrap, calligraphy, zentangle, take a picture and glue in it, or just write anything in regards of you or your city or what you want … The most important it's this made with love ! I trust you ! You have 3 weeks to decorate the journal. (No more than 2 pages pls.)

Some ideas to help you, but feel free to do what you want : I love lotus blossom, cherry blossom, and all of the flowers. I like dragons and phoenixes and all that is related to Japanese culture so as everything kawaii too (hi hi hi) My favorite color is purple, violet, lilac and all similar colors, pink, blue, green, but I love all the colors. :)

Just please include your name, city, date. If you want to, you can also add your e-mail address so other people can contact you for future travelling journal projects, or penpalling or maybe just to tell you she liked your work. Don't forget to scan or take a picture of your page once you're done.

Step 3 : Take a picture of a place who want show me ... If one day I can travel (always keep this hope) I would see by my own eyes this beautiful places. That's could be just a place in the corner if your street or just your house, just a place who want go with me ;-))) Please send me this pic or follow this pic on Instagram with the #cheefajournal

Step 4 : When you're ready to send out the journal, email me and the next person who will receive the journal and send it on its way.

The most important thing. Do it with all your heart.
