We will fill a 6x9" envie full of great items that are true vintage. You heard right... this is a swap for an Envie full of TRUE VINTAGE EPHEMERA I am talking 1970's and older. 20 item minimum- BE REASONABLE!! Items may include, but not limited to: ticket stubs Greeting Cards envies other papers such as origami, foil, textured old photographs ads labels cards postcards memo sheets ledger papers book pages blank forms sheet music This stuff will be old, so don't expect it to be crispy clean... though DO expect it to be use-able in art pieces, meaning not just some piece of trash! PLEASE REINFORCE your envelope with tape at the seams or use a larger envelope, if you think there is a chance it will explode during mailing. You may also choose to put stuff in a baggie in case the envelope tears in transit. Check the other swap up... one stuffed envie swap is for Smash Book Items!

Just wondering: I find it very difficult to part with any of "my people"--my collection of very vintage portraits. Are good copies on card stock acceptable?

I'm not the host, but I'm pretty sure the whole point of this swap is to swap -truly- vintage items, i.e. no reproductions.

When you mention other papers do you mean handmade maybe with fibers? paper other than plain scrapbook or writing paper, correct? Asking because handmade paper isn't necessarily "vintage". Thanks.

I don't understand what the confusion is - it says true vintage ephemera in the title of the swap. How is that hard to understand? It means old items - no reproductions, not stuff hand-made yesterday. Vintage means 20-25 years or older, depending on where you look. Obviously there IS vintage origami since the art of origami dates back far longer than any Western interest in this craft, so I don't see how new origami paper would in any way fit this swap.
