If you send a washi tape sample with bird images on it you can use it for B=birds, W=washi, or T=tape but not for more than one letter. Include a list to let your partner know what item goes with what letter. Be creative :)

Types of things you can send include, but are not limited to:

ephemera

stamps (postage or rubber)

shaped paper clips

hand made or store bought embellishments

stamped images

stickers

washi or deco tape

stencil

scrap book, origami, handmade papers

punched out shapes or die cuts

Do Not Send:

trash

small scraps of paper (nothing under 3x4)

plain paper that has nothing exciting about it

torn, stained, worn out items unless of course it adds to the look of it

I think you get the idea

Can I duplicate a type of item - for instance, can I have ribbon for two letters? For instance, once for R (Ribbon) and once for B (Blue ribbon)

When you say, "small scraps of paper (nothing under 3x4)" - does that also include magazine cutouts of images?

You can duplicate types of item as long as they are not the same item. Does that make sense? But be reasonible, don't use ribbon for 10 items.

When I talk about the scraps I'm referring to scrapbook or patterned paper, not cut outs. In the past I've recieved one inch strips of paper with nothing particularly exciting on them, I'm trying to avoid situations like that so that everyone recieves a fun package of goodiesand no one is disappointed. I think if you use your best judgement you'll be fine :)

@piratecaptainmo - thanks for clarifying. I figured both answers would be the case but didn't want to just assume.

Thanks for asking :) I always prefer participants to ask if something is unclear
