SE: Imitation = Education Journal Page (March)

As usual, open to all skill levels

Since I am not an artist, I find it difficult to come up with my own ideas for original "art", but a really good way to learn is to imitate someone else's work. So for this swap, make a journal page of your own by imitating this one done by Cate Prato at Cloth, Paper, Scissors:

You can try to make a page that is very much like Cate's OR you can make a page that is similar to it but with your own spin. Sender's choice.

• Only one side should be filled so that the page can be glued into a permanent journal.

• You must use portrait orientation.

• Your page must contain images and text.

• Please (discretely) initial and date the front of the page.

SIZE: Approximately 6" x 9" OR if you prefer a certain size, please post in comments below.

No artistic skills are required - you may hand draw or paint or use found images (e.g., online images, die cuts, judicious use of stickers, images from magazines, etc.), created images (e.g., rubber stamps, die cuts) as well as fairly flat non-paper embellishments (e.g., buttons, fiber, ribbon, seed beads, etc.). Just please don't make it chunky.
