Fabric ATC's Any Theme

Does everything on the ATC have to be Fabric?

I'm thinking of using fabric covered paper as my base & them going from their with paper & other items for embellishment. Is that OK?

Thanks sungazer - it can take a while to get to me. Not to worry, I am very patient and will contact you if I haven't received it within about 4 weeks. (I don't like to give 1 ratings unless there is absolutely no other way to resolve a swap.)

I have just been advised by Bonnie in SC that I sent her duplicate ATCS - arrrrgghhh!!! I am in the process of making Bonnie and groovymoonchild new third ATCs and will email them this week. Both partners have been advised of this.

The story gets even worse - it turns out I sent 2 completely the same swap packages to the same partner! Arrrrgghhh! I am in the process of making a new set for groovymoonchild. Sorry groovymoonchild! I promise you will get them. Tassy

groovymoonchild: I finally have the whole story - that you couldn\'t meet your swap commitment to Bonnie and sent her the ATCs that I had sent you, not knowing that I also had Bonnie as a partner. Not knowing any of this this morning, I mailed you replacement ATCs this morning. Would appreciate if you would return them to me when you get them - my address is on the envelope. I will reimburse you any costs. Thx. T.

I am very disappointed with Swap-bot, the moderators and the people who participate in the swaps.

My very first swap that I participated in, Fabric ATCs, was arranged by funkychickenoriginals. Because of extenuating circumstances out of my control, I found out quite soon after the swap sign-up date closed, that I would be away from my normal life and crafting supplies for a unspecified amount of time and would not be able to participate. I emailed the moderator this information.

She emailed me back, and told me to inform my swap partners, so that they could swap amongst themselves. I forwarded my email, as well as the moderators reply, and my swap partners addresses, to my swap partners, and informed them of the situation.

One of my swap partners emailed me back and said no problem. My other swap partner, Bonnie in SC, gave no respones.

The moderator sent me another email, and stated that someone had already sent their ATCs to me, and that I should forward them to Bonnie in SC, which I did.

The swap ended. I heard nothing from anyone.

I recently recieved a #1 rating from Bonnie in SC, because I forwarded my ATCs to her. I emailed her and asked her why. (Unbeknownst to me, her other swap partner was the same person that made the ATCs I forwarded.)

I also emailed the moderator about the rating.

Both the moderator, funkychickenoriginals, and Bonnie in SC have emailed me back VERY rude and condescending responses. I will not tolerate this type of behavior and treatment - especially since I was following instructions laid out for me by the moderator.

I am very disappointed. I will not be participating from this point forward.

Groovymoonchild: Regardless of what happened between you, Bonnie in SC and funkychickenoriginals, I would still appreciate if you would return my extra 3 ATCs to me when you get them. Once received, I will send you a money order for your expenses. Thx. Tassy

Groovymoonchild-You know why you received the 1 rating.I was not rude to you.You had over a month to make your own ATC's which is the reason why you received the 1 rating.Bonnie told you the reason she left you a 1 rating was because you didnot make the ATC's yourself.Everyone on swap-bot knows that you cannot be removed from the swap once you are past the deadline.Which is why you emailed me.Others also know that if something happens sending your swap package to another person is acceptable.

You have now had over two months to send ATC's to get the 1 rating removed.This is between you an Bonnie.I cannot control the actions of others.For you to go on here and leave a comment that is untrue shows your character.I will delete any further comments you leave.Work this out with Bonnie it's not my fault or my problem.

Just wanted to say that groovymoonchild returned my ATCs and I am very appreciative.
