SWL - our first ATC.

This is our first ATC swap and I hope many of you join, even if you've never made an ATC before; this is for experienced ATC swappers but mostly focused on those of us who are new to this craft. I recently made my first ever ATC, so I'm new as well!

ATC's are artist trading cards. They're mini works of art, measuring 2 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches (64 mm × 89 mm). Here's what I want us to do!

• Make an ATC. Grab some card stock (double it up if it's not that thick), chipboard, use an old playing card, any sort of sturdy background material; anything that isn't regular paper thickness, cut it to the measurements above.

• Use all different types of crafts, whatever you are interested in and love doing to decorate the ATC. Think what you'd do with Mail Art; only on this small piece of card. Fit the theme below! Use stickers, paint, mixed media, stamps, embellishments, card stock, decorated craft paper, die-cuts, fabric, whatever you have and can use!

• Sign and date the back of your ATC. Your name, date, and the title of this swap. (We'll be building up our own collection)

The theme is of course ~~~ LOVE! ;) It is pretty much open to whatever your creativity desires. Quotes, hearts, colours pink and red, valentines theme, cupid, etc etc, as long as this ATC screams LOVE! :)

There are tons of inspiration on pinterest, google images, flickr etc. Please though don't copy any of these; only use them as ideas & inspiration.

Please don't be worried that your ATC won't be "good enough", I trust you all to create something wonderful as I know you're able, whether we might all be new to ATC's or not, just create something you're proud of.
