Description:

This could be a little on the expensive side to ship internationally...I just want everyone to be aware before joining.

I haven't swapped whimsy jars in a long time, and we have never swapped a whimsy jar in Serendipity Yet. For those that aren't aware a **Whimsy Jar is simply a decorated jar with random fun surprises inside...(I will list some examples of items later in the requirements):

  • This is a "semi-sender's choice" swap...that means that although you can choose any items and colors you want, they must NOT be on your partner's dislike list.

  • This swap will be for a 16 OZ PLASTIC Whimsy Jar. (You can use an 16 oz wide mouth jar you have...washed and cleaned of any smells from whatever was inside it originally.)

  • The jar MUST be tastefully decorated. It does not have to be totally covered, but must be more than a few stickers and a ribbon. These jars (once emptied) may be used to hold pencils, scissors or other crafting items...so PLEASE send something you would proudly display on your crafting desk.

  • The jar MUST have a lid.

  • The jar MUST be plastic. This will help with postage costs and cut down on the chances of being broken in transit.

  • The jar must be FULL with fun random items: These are examples only: (all items should be new or like new)

    ♥ Random Shaped Paper Clips

    ♥ Shaped Erasers

    ♥ Charms

    ♥ Buttons

    ♥ Ribbons

    ♥ Earrings

♥ Note Pads (small enough not to be bent)

    ♥ Hair Clips

    ♥ Knick-Knacks

    ♥ Decorated Clothes Pins

    ♥ Magnets

The list could go on and on but I hope you get the point.

Here are a couple of examples of whimsy jars I pulled off of Pinterst to go by: (again these are only examples to show how creative and different each whimsy jar can be)

Disclaimer: if you do not have a dislike list on your profile, you can NOT rate down if you receive something you don't like. As long as the requirements of this swap are met you MUST rate a 5. Giving a ♥ is entirely up to your discretion.

I am going to give a long time between sign up and send by date so you will have time to make something your partner will love.

Any questions, comments or concerns please ask. : )

FYI: Any type plastic jar as long as it is at least 16oz is perfect to use. I am going to use a mayo jar. (I might even wash the old sticky mayo out...LOL)
