Who's Got Oscar Fever?

This year was the first time in history that I managed to watch all the films nominated for the Best Picture Oscar. Now I've decided that I should watch them all. Yup, every single one from every single year. Since I'm assuming I'm not the only one who loves a challenge, I thought I might be able to find some other crazies here on Swapbot.

This is the challenge:

One year will be chosen at random. Your job is to watch all the Best Picture nominees from that particular year. You must do the following:

1. Write a short review on each film. (Rate with stars, say if you couldn't finish it, loved it, hated it.... you chose how you review.)

2. Pick the movie you would have given the Oscar to.

3. Send your review (hand written or typed is fine) on to your partner.

You will have four weeks to complete the swap once partners are assigned so that you don't have to do a movie marathon.

I am assigning this challenge as a Type 3 swap due to the time component involved.

The year I've chosen for the first swap is: 1999!

Please note Some movies from some years may be difficult to track down. Please indicate if you could not locate a copy of a particular movie. You can NOT rate lower if your partner could not find a film. Remember, your local library is often the best source of finding what you need for FREE!
