Carpe Librum ~ Books for a Book Club #3

Going to attempt, again, to gather the books YOU all want to see for our book club choices each month, rather than me picking some on my own. Our 2nd round of this swap didn't garner enough books which is why I've been picking them. With new people in the group, I thought I would try again.

With this swap, we'll gather up all the books on everyone's TBR pile, and I'll organize them. I use the lists to pick out books that multiple people want to read, and then use those books for our upcoming Book Club Reads, if we have enough books in common that multiple people want to read.

But first, we need books to choose from.

For this swap, you will send your partners, via email, TWO lists ~

• 30 books on your to-read pile that you haven't gotten around to yet (no picture books please, middle school/young adult and up is fine)
• 5 book Recommendations that you think your partner might enjoy, this is sender's choice, but I'm sure your partner would be grateful if you checked out their preferences, see if there are books they dislike and don't send those

NOTICE ~ The swap must be sent within the body of the email. Please DO NOT send your partner an attachment. Some prefer to not open attachments, such as a Word Doc, so please, let's just not send any and place all your swap within the email itself. Thank you!!

• Remember that this is for a book club, so a diverse books are great, but keep in mind if a book on your list is very obscure, it's likely we won't be able to use it and I like to make sure I get at least one book in for everyone who sends one.
• After you send your list to your partner, please send the list to me as well. After the swap starts, I will email everyone so your have my email addy.

If we get enough books from this, I will use the books gathered for our MAY Book Club.
