April 23 is World Book Day (aka International Day of the Book, Festival of the Rose/el dia del llibre, William Shakespeare day, etc.).

Let's celebrate it with some art! Make a "Happy Book Day" card for your partner. Then, create or decorate an envelope with a book theme. Make sure that you do your best work and it is something of quality you would like to receive. Use your creativity and passion for books to guide you.

Send the card and mail art envelope to your partner.

Some ideas:

• Reinforce old book pages
• Use old/free ad bookmarks
• Cover the card in your favorite book quotes
• Include some book recommendations
• Take a photo of your favorite place to read for the front of the card
• Use stamps, embellishments, or draw something that makes you think of reading
• Try a theme like your favorite book or Shakespeare

This swap is open to all group members in good standing.

Note: the send date is late in the month because of the craft component, so you might not receive your card from your partner until after the 23rd.
